We have enjoyed getting to know Megan and Kurt ever since photographing their Engagement Session this past May at the Desert Botanical Garden. Our wedding photography planning meetings have centered around our shared love of food and wine, so it was no surprise that they had chosen Granite Creek Vineyards in Chino Valley as the venue for their September wedding. This was our second time back to the family-owned vineyard, and the venue was as beautiful and rustic as ever, with a red wooden barn, antique pickup truck, grassy lawn overlooking rows of lush grapevines, and iridescent (and vocal!) peacocks roaming about.
Megan and Kurt spent the afternoon and evening celebrating in the company of their close friends and family, some venturing from as far as Australia. We are so happy to have witnessed and captured such a truly memorable occasion, and we wish them a lifetime of happiness together!
Our good friends brought over their three boys Oliver, Simon, and Chet (awesome names, huh?) for some fun family portraits and general clowning around (wrestling-and-Shooter-McGavin type poses) in our home photo studio. The brothers' plaid shirts and paisley ties made for some pretty classy images!
Our good friends are expecting their second child (another girl!) and came over to our home studio for a family maternity portrait session, along with their beautiful daughter. We can't wait to see their family grow yet again!
I recently completed a business headshot portrait session for Scottsdale-based Adaptive Curriculum, a company that provides interactive software with the goal of transforming math and science education.
The session was done on-location at their office, in a conference room. I brought in full studio lighting and a backdrop. We all had a great time creating some engaging images to capture the energy and personality of this company.
