I was fortunate enough to be selected to photograph the ASGB's postcard project again this year, along with some other jewelry pieces by these very talented glass artists. Here is just a small selection from the project. The artists, from top to bottom, are: Penny Dickinson, Michele Coletti, Kathryn Guler, Gail Finney, Dolly Ahles, Diane Sepanski, Diane Rogers, Anita Farrah, Kiersten Kern, Diane Sepanski, Penny Dickinson, Michele Coletti, and Gail Finney.

What? Is There Something in my Hair?

Amanda and I seem to have a knack for finding these little guys at the tops of mountain peaks every summer. The ladybugs swarm all over tree trunks, branches, and even radio towers. We found this particular group after a mile hike to the top of Madera Peak, in the Pinal Mountains just outside Globe. I love the way they tucked themselves into the bark of alligator juniper trees.

Margaret Gordon works with a variety of mixed media to create truly unique jewelry. Some of my favorite pieces are her beaded corncobs, which combine colorful "Indian" corn, intricately woven seed beads, and both modern and antique glass. Here are a couple of her latest designs.

Here are a couple of products I photographed in the studio for a client's marketing campaign. Each of these images required multiple exposures to capture the right lighting balance for the product, reflection, and LED screen.

These are some jewelry images I recently shot for a postcard project for the group Metal Heads/Feats of Clay, the Phoenix chapter of the PMC Guild. Members of the this group specialize in jewelry made with silver clay (precious metal clay). As you can see, they have achieved some beautiful results with their talents! The pieces, from top to bottom, were created by Diane Sepanski, Donna Lewis, Gretchen Olberding, Cindi Shaffer, Lynn A. Strolin, Tina Christie, and Florence Coleman.
